A certain amount of frost will always formon the freezer shelves and around thetop compartment.Defrost the freezer when the frost layerreaches a thickness of about 3-5 mm.1. Switch off the appliance, or pull outelectrical plug from the wall socket.2. Remove any stored food, wrap it inseveral layers of newspaper and putit in a cool place.WARNING!Do not touch frozengoods with wet hands.Hands can freeze to thegoods.3. Leave the door open and insert theplastic scraper in the appropriateseating at the bottom centre, placinga basin underneath to collect thedefrost water.In order to speed up the defrostingprocess, place a pot of warm water inthe freezer compartment. In addition,remove pieces of ice that break awaybefore defrosting is complete.4. When defrosting is completed, drythe interior thoroughly and keep thescraper for future use.5. Switch on the appliance.After three hours reload the previouslyremoved food into the freezercompartment.8.
