To capture the gas sample, it isrecommended the TCR sample probe be mounted horizontally. It can be mountedvertically if this is more suitable to the installation.TCR sample probe is specifically selected for operation with the NGC. The designof the probe prevents icing without the need for electrical power.It is the customer’s responsibility to install and weld a 3/4 –inchfemale NPT standard pipeline coupling on the main meter rungas flow pipe. This coupling allows installation of the TCRsample probe.Check Table 2–9 to ensure the correct sample probe for installation. The length ofthe sample probe is dependent on the diameter of the meter run.ABB Totalflow recommends that a TCR be installed with the NGC.
