Over-voltage can result in permanent damage to the drive.Input Power SpecificationsDisconnect DeviceThe ACS550 does not include a disconnect device. A means to disconnect inputpower must be installed between the AC power source and the ACS550. Thisdisconnect device must:• Be sized to conform to applicable safety regulations, including, but not limited to,both national and local electrical codes.• Be locked in the open position during installation and maintenance work.The disconnect device must not be used to control the motor. Instead use the controlpanel, or commands to the I/O terminals for motor control.FusesBranch circuit protection must be provided by the end-user, and sized per nationaland local electric codes.
