These modules do not occupymodule payload slots. The management modulesprovide power management functions.You manage the switch through:n The EME command interface, which you accessthrough the serial port, or through SNMP (SimpleNetwork Management Protocol).n The Switch 4007 Web Management suite ofapplications.n 3Com Transcend Network Control Services.An EME combines the functions of a managementmodule and a controller module.
