Use only the special cables designed and supplied for thisproduct. 3Com require that you confirm that your chassis supports thedual phase feature by checking that “3C16071A” or“3C16071B” appears on the serial number label on the base ofthe chassis, the front panel overlay, and also on the packaginglabel. If the “A” or “B” suffix is not shown, the 3C16071 doesnot provide dual phase support and must be powered from ACsources of the same phase. Disconnect both AC power leads before servicing. Do not fit a Type 3 ‘Y’ cable to a Type 3 Power Module that isbeing used in a single module configuration.
