April 27, 2015 2-7GarmentOption 2 - With optional second batteryThis option straps the Nicolet EEGwireless32/64amplifier, headbox, battery pouch, electrode sleeveand optional second battery to the patient.Attach the garment to the patient1. Clip the shoulder straps to the bottom fasteningloop (R1) for the right shoulder (Figure 1).2. Hang the shoulder strap assembly over thepatient’s shoulder and clip the other end of theshoulder strap to the top fastening loop (R2).3. Repeat steps 1 (L1) and 2 (L2) for the leftshoulder strap.4. Feed the electrode leads through the electrodesleeve (4).5. Adjust the straps as necessary for a snug fit.Attach the optional second batteryNOTE: The belt battery can be the primary battery.1. Feed the belt through the belt loop ( 1) on the backof the battery pouch (Figure 2).2. Clip the belt strap to the bottom fastening loop ( 2).3. Wrap the belt around the patient’s waist and clipthe belt to the other fastening loop (3).4. Connect the battery cable to the optional secondbattery (4).5.
