KINGSLEY–BATEFine Garden FurnitureASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE GV–52/60LEGS TABLE TOP CROSS BRACE* NOTEA TENONB MORTISE HOLESTEP-IUnpack, inspect and lay the parts on a clean, flat, soft surface to avoid marring the wood.NOTE: During assembly of the furniture please match all the joints with the correspondingletters or numbers stamped on the furniture.STEP-IIFit the CROSS BRACE tenons into the LEG m ortise holesusing the stamped numbers or letters as guides.STEP-IIIFit the LEG ASSEMBLY into the TABLE TOP using thestamped numbers or letters as guides. Using a rubber m alletor a hammer with a block of wood between the ham mer andthe wood, drive the tenons and the m ortise holes evenly untilall joints fit snugly together. Insert the two knock down bolts as shown in assem bly pictures.Secure them with a proper screw driver (using a power screw driver could lead to damage).STEP-IVDrive the dowels (as seen in photographs) by using directsharp blows with a ham mer (again, please use the sandingblock between the dowels and the hammer for the last fewblows). Do not force the dowels further than they can go andbe careful not to mar the wood.
