Do Not overload the transformer byinstalling (or relamping) higher wattage lamps than planned. Note: Total wattage of all lamps connected to onetransformer must not exceed the capacity of that transformer. Do Not install luminaire within 10 feet (3.04m) of apool, spa, or fountain. DO NOT operate luminaire with missing or damaged lens.SAFETY WARNING: When relamping be sure electrical supply is OFF. Low voltage fixtures can becomevery HOT depending on the lamp wattage used. Glass lenses and metal areas above & around the lampcan become HOT enough to blister hands. Use discretion when touching fixture and be sure to allow fixture tocool before relamping. When relamping fixture avoid touching the lamp with bare hands. Lighted lamp is HOT!If touching the lamp is necessary during installation, clean the envelope with alcohol and dry with a clean, softcloth before turning ON. Contamination of the envelope may reduce the lamp performance.MAINTENANCE: To maintain light efficiency and prevent fixture-overheating, glass lenses and enclosure mustbe kept clean and free from dirt, dust, leaves, trash (combustible materials) and mineral deposits from water.Particular care should be taken not to locate fixtures where small children can reach them if higher wattage's areused. Do not operate luminaire with missing or damaged lens.Note: Keep the lamp free from impact while burning, as this may deform the filament and shorten the lamp life.NOT INTENDED FOR INDOOR USE. Attach fixture unto coupling.Connect fixture cable tomain system cable with aKLV410 Sealed Connector(Part No. 95484).Make certain electrical supply is OFF before starting fixture installation.!1. Attach coupling onto mountingdevice. (See KLV MountingOptions, part no. 95488.)Note: Kim KLV MountingOptions can be installed beforefixture is attached.3. To install lamp, loosen the two (2) captive screwson lens frame. Install lamp of type and wattageshown on fixture label and chart on page 2.Replace lens frame assembly making suregasket fits into the recess properly. Tightenopposing screws progressively & evenly.(Step 3 not required on L.E.D. version, for L.E.D.fixture skip to step 4).Captive Screws!Do not overload the transformer by installing (orrelamping) higher wattage lamps than planned.Remember, the total wattage of all lampsconnected to one transformer must notexceed the capacity of that transformer.90°***Note:Swivel stem must be installed with themounting threads facing down-tohorizontal. Fixtures may not be installedwith mounting threads facing upwardunless shielded from rain or sprinklers.!Unit intended for mounting with Diffuser/Glass Barrier and Lamp Holder greater than 2 in.
