However, some common user errors can quickly damagethe pump and would not be covered under warranty.Avoid user damage to your pump by always following these essential operating instructions:Please continue to read for full setup and operating instructions...DUST & FIBRES RESINOIL Always use an inline filter to prevent dust, dirt andfragments of fibre reinforcement from entering thepump. Failure to do so will contaminate the oil andincrease wear, resulting in reduced performance. Filtersshould be checked and changed regularly.The most common cause of damage to vacuum pumpsin composites is ingestion of resin, which can occur in asingle major event or can accumulate over time. Alwaysuse an inline catchpot and filter when using the pumpwith liquid resin.EC20 ships without oil. Add oil before use!Ensure oil is maintained at correct level, top-up as nec-essary. Regularly check for signs of contamination andreplace immediately if it appears discoloured or cloudy.VERSION 2.0 |
