Use of the Whiteboard Software:The Software sits in minimised mode in the lower Right Desktop, and uses thewhiteboard icon. Simply click on the whiteboard icon, and left click “Tools” to maximisethe software. Alternatively, or select “Returnstar Electronic Whiteboard Software” inStart>Programs>Retrnstar Electronic Whiteboard SoftwareThe Software Control Panel will operate in conjunction with other windows programs,and will sit as an “overlay” screen. The Control Panel can be moved around the screen byholding the left button on the blue top frame of the Control Panel, and moving the Panel tonthe required location. Alternatively, the position can be locked by clicking the padlock icon(centre of 3 icons) on the top right of the control panel. The Control Panel can be minimisedby clicking the minimise icon to the right of the padlock icon.1. Menu: Click the Menu button on the top left of the control panel. This opens the Menudialog box as per pic :New: Creates new fileOpen: Opens existing fileClose: Closes file that is openMouse right-key: Makes mouse click act as right mousekey until “make left key” clickedMouse left-key: Makes left mouse click act asleft mouse keySingle Click to open item: Makes a single click OKto open fileDouble Click to open item: Makes a double clicknecessary to open fileFile Protection: Creates password protection toopen fileSave: Save an existing fileSave as: Saves a file to direction/name as typedSaves as template: Saves a file as a Template filefor this programPrint: Opens default printer to print filePrint Current Page: Opens default printer to printthe current pagePrnit Preview: Previews the page/s to be printedbefore printingPrint Setup: Allows the print parameters to be setbefore printingAbout: Displays the software version be usedExit: Exits the Whiteboard software program- 13 -
