22page6.0 Important Pre-ride Safety InformationEnsure that you and your A2B are bothready for safe and enjoyable use.• NEVER carry a passenger. Overloading yourA2B with a second rider can lead to severe injuryor death.• OBEY all traffic laws. Always ride on the correctside of the road, with and not against the flow oftraffic.• Watch out for car doors. Be aware of the pos-sibility of car doors opening into your path.• Be extra careful in wet conditions. In wet con-ditions it might take double or triple the distanceyou need to stop your A2B . Ride slower, antici-pate your stops and apply the brakes earlier. Wetroads are slippery – take corners carefully.• Make sure you are seen. In poor light condi-tions and at night, wear light coloured clothing,preferably with reflective strips.• Ride attentively. Watch out for both moving andstationary vehicles.Special note for parents or guardiansAs a parent or guardian, you are responsible forthe activities and safety of the child when they areusing the A2B . You need to make sure that:The A2B is properly fitted to the child.• It is in good repair and safe operating condi-tion.• You and your child have learned and under-stand the safe operation of the A2B .• You and your child have learned, understandand obey local motor vehicle, bicycle and trafficlaws.• You and your child apply the common senserules of safe and responsible riding.• You and your child have read this manual, re-viewed the warnings and the A2B functions andoperating procedures with your child before let-ting them ride it.
