Conforming to EN54 Part 3, theZP755R-2 is developed for applications in individualrooms, sleeping accommodation or smallcompartments.ApplicationInstalled directly onto the wiring loop - the ZP755R-2enables the system designer to offer a completeanalogue addressable system on a single pair ofwires. Installation costs are greatly reduced, whilstsystem integrity, sounder options and programmedalarm organisation are significantly increased.The ZP755R-2 features the wide sound distributiondesign, with an 'all around' sound output of 70 dBA.The units high efficiency acoustic design and soundtransducer, enables up to 60 Addressable SensorBase Sounders to be connected to a one kilometreloop of 1.5 mm2 cable. A plug-in base accepts allloop and screen connections, prior to the roomsounder connection. A volume control is included forareas where a reduced sound output is required, butthis control must be fully clockwise to conform toEN54 Part 3 sound output levels.The ZP755R-2 range features a unique self testfacility - automatically activated during routinesounder testing. A built in microphone circuitmeasures sound output level and automaticallysignals the sounder address and location to thecontrol panel, should volume fall below theexpected test level.In systems where loop lengths or currentrequirements are excessive, ZP755R-2 sounders canbe powered directly from an external power supply.All ZP755R-2 sounders incorporate switch settingsenabling them to be assigned a unique address, whichis polled by the panel every two seconds.Continuous, intermittent and two-tone outputs areavailable, from which any combination can bechosen to provide alert and evacuate, two stagealarms.
