Power Pack and ChargingOn-Board Power Pack ChargerKeep your power pack connected to the charger whenyour motorcycle is sitting in storage or if it will be sittingunused for more than 90 days. The power pack must becharged within 24 hours if fully discharged, and chargedwithin 90 days if stored fully charged. Zero recommendsyou plug in your Zero motorcycle after 90 days, even if fullycharged. Please leave your Zero motorcycle plugged inwhenever possible.CAUTION: Only charge the Zero power pack with the Zerocharger. The on-board charger is located under the powerpack.When charging the motorcycle’s power pack, the chargercan be left ON, even after the power pack is fully charged.There are two possible cases that can occur:• When connected to the charger, the power pack willreceive a full charge. Once fully charged, the chargerwill check the status of the power pack once every 72hours to ensure that it maintains a full charge. Whenfully charged, a green light illuminates on the charger.Should the charger not read that the power pack is full,• If the power pack terminates the charge before thecharger reaches the state previously mentioned, thenthe charger continues to cycle and tops off the powerpack until the power pack is removed from the charger,or the charger reaches the complete state previouslynoted.The on-board charger status indicator is visible through thefront of the battery housing by removing a black rubberplug (A).
