LightningFor added protection for this product (receiver) dur-ing a lightning storm, or when it is left unattendedand unused for long periods of time, unplug it fromthe wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cablesystem. This will prevent damage to the productdue to lightning and power-line surges.16. Power LinesAn outside antenna system should not be located inthe vicinity of overhead power lines or other elec-tric light or power circuits, or where it can fall intosuch power lines or circuits. When installing an out-side antenna system, extreme care should be takento keep from touching such power lines or circuitsas contact with them might be fatal.17. OverloadingDo not overload wall outlets and extension cords asthis can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.18. Object and Liquid EntryNever push objects of any kind into this productthrough openings as they may touch dangerous volt-age points or short-out parts that could result in afire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kindon the product.19. ServicingDo not attempt to service this product yourself asopening or removing covers may expose you to dan-gerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicingto qualified service personnel.20. Damage Requiring ServiceUnplug this product from the wall outlet and referservicing to qualified service personnel under thefollowing conditions:a. If the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.b. If liquid has been spilled, or objects have falleninto the product.c. If the product has been exposed to rain or water.d. If the product does not operate normally by fol-lowing the operating instructions.
