Care and cleaningExternal cleaningClean the appliance only with soap and warmwater. Fully dry all the surfaces.Caution! Do not use alcohol, solvents orchemical products.DescalingThe water we use contains limescale. If it be-comes necessary, use a water softener to re-move limescales.Use a special product made for washing ma-chines. Obey the instructions that you find onthe packaging of the manufacturer.Do this separately from the laundry wash.Maintenance washWith the low temperature programmes it ispossible that some detergent stays in the drum.Make regularly a maintenance wash. To do this:• Empty the laundry from the drum.• Set the hottest cotton wash programme• Use a correct quantity of powder detergentwith biological properties.After each wash, keep the door open for awhile to prevent mould and to let unpleasantsmells go out.DrumRegularly examine the drum to prevent lime-scale and rust particles.Only use special products to remove rust parti-cles from the drum.To do this:• Clean the drum with special product forstainless steel.• Start a short programme for cotton at themaximum temperature with a small quantityof detergent.Door sealRegularly examine theseal and remove allobjects from the innerpart.Detergent dispenserTo clean the dispenser:1. 2.3. 4.5. 6.The inlet hose filter and the valve filterTo clean the water inlet filters:13www.zanussi.com |
