• Connect the mains plug to the mains socketonly at the end of the installation. Make surethat there is access to the mains plug afterthe installation.• If the mains socket is loose, do not connectthe mains plug.• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnectthe appliance. Always pull the mains plug.• Use only correct isolation devices: lineprotecting cut-outs, fuses (screw type fusesremoved from the holder), earth leakage tripsand contactors.• The electrical installation must have anisolation device which lets you disconnectthe appliance from the mains at all poles.The isolation device must have a contactopening width of minimum 3 mm.• This appliance complies with the E.E.C.Directives.UseWARNING!Risk of injury, burns and electricalshock or explosion.• This appliance is for household use only.• Do not change the specification of thisappliance.• Make sure that the ventilation openings arenot blocked.• Do not let the appliance stay unattendedduring operation.• Deactivate the appliance after each use.• Be careful when you open the appliancedoor while the appliance is in operation. Hotair can release.• Do not operate the appliance with wet handsor when it has contact with water.• Do not apply pressure on the open door.• Do not use the appliance as a work surfaceor as a storage surface.• Open the appliance door carefully. The useof ingredients with alcohol can cause amixture of alcohol and air.• Do not let sparks or open flames to come incontact with the appliance when you openthe door.• Do not put flammable products or items thatare wet with flammable products in, near oron the appliance.WARNING!Risk of damage to the appliance.• To prevent damage or discoloration to theenamel:– do not put ovenware or other objects inthe appliance directly on the bottom.– do not put aluminium foil directly on thebottom of the appliance.– do not put water directly into the hotappliance.– do not keep moist dishes and food in theappliance after you finish the cooking.– be careful when you remove or installthe accessories.• Discoloration of the enamel has no effect onthe performance of the appliance.• Use a deep pan for moist cakes. Fruit juicescause stains that can be permanent.• This appliance is for cooking purposes only.It must not be used for other purposes, forexample room heating.• Always cook with the oven door closed.• If the appliance is installed behind a furniturepanel (e.g. a door) make sure the door isnever closed when the appliance is inoperation. Heat and moisture can build upbehind a closed furniture panel and causesubsequent damage to the appliance, thehousing unit or the floor. Do not close thefurniture panel until the appliance has cooleddown completely after use.Care and cleaningWARNING!Risk of injury, fire, or damage to theappliance.• Before maintenance, deactivate theappliance and disconnect the mains plugfrom the mains socket.• Make sure the appliance is cold. There is therisk that the glass panels can break.• Replace immediately the door glass panelswhen they are damaged. Contact theAuthorised Service Centre.• Be careful when you remove the door fromthe appliance. The door is heavy!• Clean regularly the appliance to prevent thedeterioration of the surface material.• Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth.Only use neutral detergents. Do not use anyabrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads,solvents or metal objects.• If you use an oven spray, obey the safetyinstructions on the packaging.• Do not clean the catalytic enamel (ifapplicable) with any kind of detergent.4 www.zanussi.com |
