The wires in the mains lead arecoloured in accordance with the following code:1 Green and Yellow: Earth3 Brown: Live5 Blue: NeutralAs the colours of the wires in the mains lead ofthis appliance may not correspond with the col-oured markings identifying the terminals in yourplug, proceed as follows:1. Connect the wire coloured green and yel-low to the terminal marked either with theletter “E“ or by the earth symbol or col-oured green and yellow.2. Connect the wire coloured blue to the ter-minal either marked with the letter “N“ orcoloured black.3. Connect the wire coloured brown to theterminal either marked with the “L“ or col-oured red.4. Check that no cut, or stray strands of wireis present and the cord clamp 4 is secureover the outer sheath.5. Make sure the electricity supply voltage isthe same as that indicated on the appliancerating plate.6. Switch on the appliance.The appliance is supplied with a 13 amp plugfitted 2 . In the event of having to change thefuse in the plug supplied, a 13 amp ASTA ap-proved (BS 1362) fuse must be used.Warning! A cut off plug inserted into a 13amp socket is a serious safety (shock)hazard. Ensure that it is disposed of safely.Ventilation requirements1. Put the freezer in horizontal position on afirm surface. The cabinet must be on all fourfeet.2. Make sure that the clearance between theappliance and rear wall is 5 cm.3.
