BEFORE FIRST USEBefore you use the appliance for the first time dothese operations:• Clean the tumble dryer drum with a moist cloth.• Start a short programme (e.g. 30 minutes) withmoist laundry.DAILY USESTART A PROGRAMME1. Prepare the laundry and load the appliance.CAUTION! Make sure that whenyou close the door, the laundrydoes not catch between theappliance door and the rubberseal.2. Set the correct programme and options for thetype of load.3. Press the Start/Pause touchpad.The programme starts.CHANGE A PROGRAMME1. Turn the Programme knob to OFF2. Set the programme.AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMMEWhen the programme is completed:• An intermittent acoustic signal operates.• The indicators Drying, End/Anticrease, Filter andTank comes on.• The Start/Pause indicator is on.The appliance continues to operate with the creaseguard phase for approximately other 30 minutes.The crease guard phase removes creases fromyour laundry.You can remove the laundry before the creaseguard phase is completed. We recommend, forbetter results, that you remove the laundry when thephase is almost completed or completed.When the crease guard phase is completed:• The indicators Drying, End/Anticrease, Filter andTank comes on.• Start/Pause indicator goes off.1. Turn the Programme knob to OFF2. Open the appliance door.3. Remove the laundry.4. Close the appliance door.Always clean the filter and empty thewater container when a programme iscompleted.STAND-BY FUNCTIONTo decrease the energy consumption, this functionautomatically deactivates the appliance:• After 5 minutes if you do not start theprogramme.• After 5 minutes from the end of the programme.INDICATOR LIGHTSThese lights indicate the following functions:• Drying: This light indicates that the appliance isin the drying phase.• End/Anticrease: This light is on at the end ofthe cooling phase, during the anticreasingphase and at the end of the programme.• Filter: This light illuminates at the end of theprogramme to remind you that the filters mustbe cleaned.• Condenser : This light indicate that thecondenser must be cleaned.• Tank: This light comes on at the end of theprogramme to remind you that the waterreservoir must be emptied out. This light comeson also when the water reservoir is not insertedcorrectly.HINTS AND TIPSPREPARING THE LAUNDRY• Close the zippers.• Close the fasteners of the duvet covers.• Do not keep ties or ribbons loose (e.g. apronribbons). Tie them before you start aprogramme.• Remove all items from the pockets.• If an item has the internal layer made of cotton,turn it inside out. Make sure that the cotton layeris always external• We recommend that you set the correctprogramme applicable for the type of fabricsthat are in the appliance.8 |
