8Oven Function and Thermostatcontrol knobsThey enable to select the most appropriate type ofheating for the different cooking requirements byappropriately connecting the heating elements andadjusting temperature to the required level.Conventional cooking - The heat comes from boththe top and bottom element, ensuring evenheating inside the oven.Bottom heating element - The heat comes fromthe bottom of the oven only.Top heating element - The heat comes from thetop of the oven only.Grill - The grill element will be on.Fan cooking - This allows you to roast or roast andbake simoultaneously using any shelf, withoutflavour transference.Defrost Setting - This setting is intended to assistin thawing of frozen food.Mains on LightThe mains on light will come on when the oven functioncontrol knob and/or the cooking zone control knob areset.Thermostat Control KnobTurn the thermostat control knob clockwise to selecttemperatures between 50∞C and 230∞C (MAX).Thermostat Control LightThe thermostat control light will come on when thethermostat control knob is turned. The light will remain onuntil the correct temperature is reached. It will then cycleon and off to show the temperature is being maintained.The Safety ThermostatThis oven is provided with a safety thermostat. In case ofmalfunctioning of the main thermostat, and consequentialover-heating, the safety device will stop the power supplyto the appliance. If this happens, call your local ServiceForce Centre.
