2General Safetyï This appliance contains hydrocarbons in itscooling unit; maintenance and recharging musttherefore only be carried out by authorisedtechnicians.ï Take utmost care when handling yourappliance so as not to cause any damages tothe cooling unit with consequent possible fluidleakages.ï The appliance must not be located close toradiators or boilers.ï Avoid prolonged exposure of the appliance todirect sunlight.ï Do not use other electrical appliances (such asice cream makers) inside of refrigeratingappliances.During Useï This appliance is designed for domestic use only,specifically for the storage of edible foodstuffs. It isnot intended for commercial or industrial use.ï Containers with flammable gases or liquids canleak at low temperatures. Do not store anycontainers with flammable materials, such as spraycans, fire extinguisher refill cartridges etc. in therefrigerator.Maintenance and Cleaningï Before cleaning, always switch off the applianceand disconnect from the electrical supply.ï When unplugging always pull the plug from themains socket, do not pull on the cable.Servicingï This product should be serviced by an authorisedengineer and only genuine spare parts should beused.ï Under no circumstances should you attempt torepair the appliance yourself. Repairs carried outby inexperienced persons may cause injury orserious malfunctioning. Contact your local ServiceForce Centre.Prior to Installationï Check the appliance for transport damage. Underno circumstance should a damaged appliance beinstalled. In the event of damage please contactyour retailer.Installationï This appliance is heavy. Care should be takenwhen moving it.ï It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attemptto modify this product in any way.ï Ensure that the appliance does not stand on theelectrical supply cable.Important: if the supply cable is damaged, it mustbe replaced by a cable available from themanufacturer or your local Service Force Centre.ï Any electrical work required to install this applianceshould be carried out by a qualified electrician orcompetent person.ï Parts which heat up should not be exposed.Whenever possible, the back of the applianceshould be close to a wall, but leaving the requireddistance for ventilation, as stated in the installationinstructions.ï The appliance should be left for 2 hours afterinstallation before it is turned on, in order to allowthe refrigerant to settle.Refrigerantï The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) is containedwithin the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, anatural gas with a high level of environmentalcompatibility, which is nevertheless flammable.ï During transportation and installation of theappliance, be certain that none of the componentsof the refrigerant circuit become damaged.ï If the refrigerant circuit should become damaged:- avoid open flames and sources of ignition.- thoroughly ventilate the room in which theappliance is situated.Child Safetyï Do not allow children to tamper with the controls orplay with the product.ï There is a risk of suffocation!
