15Cleaning the air intake grilleUsing a vacuum cleaner remove the flufffrom the air intake grille at the back of theappliance.Cleaning the drumWhen your laundry does not reach the desireddegree of dryness, in other words, when itturns out either too dry or too damp, weadvise you to clean the inside of the drum witha cloth soaked with vinegar.This will eliminate the slight patina that hasformed in the drum (due to residues ofdetergent and softeners used in the wash-ing, and to the lime contained in the water),which prevents the probes from detectingthe correct degree of dryness.1.Open the small door at thelower part of the cabinet.2. Turn the yellow stopupwards.3. Pull out the reservoir.4. Open the small cover andlet water flow down .• Close the small cover andre-insert the reservoir cor-rectly.5. Push it until it clicks andturn the yellow stop down-wards ensure it is firmlylocked.6. Close the small door andpress the START/PAUSEbutton again to allow theprogramme to continue.Important:The reservoir must be re-inserted correctly.After emptying and insertingthe reservoir the START-but-ton has to be depressedagain to allow the pro-gramme to continue.Handy tip: The condensedwater may be used in asteam iron or to top up abattery, etc. In this case itmust be filtered (e.g. througha coffee filter).
