7. Start the machineBefore starting up the machine check that:• the appliance is plugged in,• the water supply tap is turned on,• the drain hose is correctly and securely positioned,• the door and the detergent dispenser drawer areclosed.Depress the ON/OFF button: the mains-on light willilluminate and the machine starts operating.8. At the end of the programmeThe machine stops automatically. The mains-on lightgoes out.If you have depressed the ANTI-CREASE (RINSEHOLD PLUS) button, the machine will stop with thewater left in the tub, to prevent the fabric fromcreasing. To drain the water and spin, release thesame button. To drain only, select drain programme.The door is controlled by a safety device whichreleases 2 minutes after the end of the programme.Switch the machine off by depressing the ON/OFFbutton again.Remove the laundry.Turn the drum by hand to make sure it is completelyempty, so as to avoid any forgotten items beingdamaged in a subsequent wash (e.g. shrinking) ortheir colour running into a load of whites.Release any buttons which have been pressed.When the programme has finished you are advisedto unplug the appliance and turn off the water tap.Leave the door ajar to air the machine.P0853SONOFFENGLISH15ENGLISH124973430 Luxus 600 gb 1-02-1999 9:43 Pagina 15
