CATS-2030 Quick Start GuideSupplied itemsBefore assembling and connecting, make sure you have received all of the following items.Placement© 2014 Yamaha Corporation Printed in Indonesia ZM98670Place the sound bar in front of or below your TV, either with orwithout a stand, at least 2'' away from your TV.Place the subwoofer to the outside of the sound bar. To avoidechoes from the wall, face the front side of the subwooferslightly inward.The sound bar may also be mounted on a wall, using theincluded mounting template and commercially availablescrews. Select the desired input source on the TV.4. Connect the TV and sound bar with theoptical cable (supplied).Remove the cap of the optical cable and check thedirection of the plug.2. Connect the power cable of the sound barand subwoofer to AC wall outlets.3. Turn on the TV and set the volume tominimum.4. Disable the TV speakers using the TV’s audiosettings menu (if available).HINTIf a setting to disable the speaker output is not available onyour TV, you may disable it by connecting headphones to theheadphone jack on the TV.
