Scan-to-Net is an available option for all Xerox 6030/6050 WideFormat equipped with the WIDE FORMAT SCAN SYSTEM. The ColorScan-to-Net feature requires a separately purchased, Color Enablementfeature key.. For ordering information, contact your XEROXrepresentative.NOTE: The COPY mode will be disabled and the READY TO COPYscreen will not be accessible when the SCAN OPTION (COLOR) isenabled and a color printer is connected to the AccXES Print Server.• In COPY mode, documents are scanned and temporarily storedin memory or on the AccXES Print Server internal hard disk, andthen sent to the local Printer as soon as the Printer is available.When the next job is scanned, the file from the previous job isautomatically deleted from the hard disk, making room for newfiles. Operation of the system works as described in the previoussections.• In SCAN mode, the image file created by scanning is storeddirectly on the AccXES Print Server hard disk for later retrievalover a connected network by a remote system. The image isstored in Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) 6.0 using CCITTGroup 4, CALS compression, Packbits, or PDF. High resolutionJPG files are also available with the Color Scan-to-Net option.
