Using Cancel/DrainPress Cancel/Drain to cancel a cycle or toclear the indicators.To clear the indicators:Press Cancel/Drain before starting thedishwasher to clear all cycle and optionselections.To cancel a cycle:= Press Cancel/Drain while the dishwasheris running to start a 2-minute drain. It willtake a few seconds for the drain to start. Ifdesired, select a new cycle. (See the"Changing a cycle or option setting"section).• You can press Cancel/Drain again to stopthe drain immediately. Remember to drainthe dishwasher again before starting anew cycle.NOTE: A small amount of water remainingin the dishwasher is normal.SelectingYou can press an Option pad after thedishwasher starts as long as the cycle is notpast the point that the option is used. Forexample, you can press Air Dry any timebefore the Drying indicator glows.After a wash cycle, the dishwasherremembers the options used and uses thesame options in the next wash cycle unlessnew options are selected or the Cancel/Drain pad is pressed.cycle options Air DryWhen Air Dry is selected, the air in thedishwasher is not heated duringthe "dry" portion of a cycle. UsingAir Dry helps save energy, butdishes take longer to dry andsome spotting can occur.Some items (such as plastics) may needtowel drying. For best drying, use a liquidrinse agent.High Temp WashWhen High Temp Wash is se-lected, the dishwasher heats thewater during the main wash of theLow Energy/China and Normalcycles. Heating the water helpsimprove washing results. The Pots-N=Panscycle automatically uses High Temp Wash.NOTE: The dishwasher automaticallyheats the air in the dishwasher during the"dry" portion of the cycle unless youselect Air Dry.14
