Remove control knobs and 4 screwsthat attach control panel to rangecabinet. Pull control panel forward toremove. Set panel, screws and knobsaside.b. Adjust pilot adjustment screw untilpilot flame tips are 3/8” to 1/2” high andcentered in the pilot housing. If the flameis too high, carbon (soot) will form onunderside of maintop.14.Test all connections bybrushing on an approved non-corrosiveleak-detection solution. Bubbles willshow a leak. If a leak appears, shut offgas supply valve and tightenconnections. Then check connectionsagain. Clean all leak-detection solutionfrom gas connections. Close broiler door.15.Light the burner pilots. Place alit match through the small pilot holes inthe cooktop located between front andrear burners. You must see a pilot flamein each pilot hole. Note: The pilot flamesshould be 3/8” to 1/2” high.If surface burner pilots need adjusting:pilot holespilotadjustmentscrew16.Open broiler door. Hold amatch to the opening in the top of thepilot area at the rear of the oven burner.No pilot adjustments are needed. Closebroiler door.17.Place burners and grates oncooktop. Do not reinstall control panel, itwill be reinstalled in Step 19.
