Adding an item during a cycleYou can add an additional item to thedishwasher anytime before the cycle controlknob reaches Light. items added after thecycle control knob reaches Light may onlybe rinsed.1. Lift up the door latch to stop the cycle.Wait for spraying action to stop beforeopening the door.3. Close the door, but do not latch it. Wait30 seconds for the air in the dishwasherto warm up. Doing so reduces theamount of moisture in the vent whenrestarting a cycle.4. Close the door firmly until it latches. Thedishwasher resumes the cycle.2. Open the door and add the item.Using delay wash(on some models)You can set the dishwasher to start a cyclefrom 1 to 4 hours later.1. Press the desired Cycle pad.2. Press the desired Option pad(s).3. Turn the cycle control knob clockwise tothe number of hours (from 1 to 4 hours)you want the dishwasher to delay beforethe selected cycle starts.4. Close and latch the door. The Delay/Water Heating signal light will come onuntil the selected cycle starts.NOTE:l You can add items while time is countingdown. Close and latch the door. The cyclecontrol knob will not advance if the door isunlatched.l Rinse-Wash Later and Light cycles cannotbe delayed.l The Delay/Water Heating signal light willalso come on while the water is heatingduring all cycles.The clean signal light(on some models)The Clean signal light will come on when awashing cycle is complete. To turn it off, turnthe cycle control knob clockwise slightlyuntil the light goes off.18
