It is recommended that a separatecircuit, serving only this appliance, be provided. This appliance is equipped with a powersupply cord having a 3-prong grounding plug. Tominimize possible shock hazard, the cord must beplugged into a mating 3-prong grounding type wallreceptacle, grounded in accordance with the NationalElectrical Code and local codes and ordinances. If amating wall receptacle is not available, it is the personalresponsibility and obligation of the customer to havea properly grounded 3-prong wall receptacle installedby a qualified electrician. THIS, HOWEVER, IS NOT RECOMMENDED.If this is done, you must connect the grounding eyeleton the adapter to the wall receptacle cover plate screwand from this same screw, you must connect a separatecopper ground wire (No. 4 minimum) to a grounded coldwater pipe*. See Figure 7. Do not ground to a gas supp-ly pipe.
