12Your Walgreens monitor will keep track of the time and dateunless the batteries have run down or are removed from themonitor.AC Capability and AdapterThis Walgreens blood pressure monitor is equipped with ACcapability should you choose to use electric power instead ofbatteries to operate your unit.Use only the authorized AC adapter included with yourmonitor. Use of any other adapter may cause damage to themonitor and will void the user warranty. For warranty orreplacement information refer to pages 24-25.AC Adapter Output: 6V DC 1A*It is suggested that you remove the batteries from the compartment if you are going to usean AC adapter for an extended amount of time.13Selecting Time and DatePress the MODE button on the unit. The month will begin toflash. Press the (Up) or (Down) button until thecorrect month appears on the display.Press the MODE button once again to store and now theday will begin to flash. Press the (Up) or (Down)button until the correct day appears on the display.Press the MODE button to store and the hour will begin toflash. Follow the same process as setting the month andday to set the hour and minute.Once you have selected the minute, press the MODEbutton. The unit will now display the time and date.••••
