Noise Control SystemLarge Three Row DisplayMemory FeatureA unique low-noise, rolling pump allows our monitors to offerquiet inflation.A large LCD displays the time, date and your blood pressure -systolic over diastolic - to make measuring your blood pressureeasy to read.Your Walgreens Automatic Inflate monitor features a 2 partymemory capability or 2 "zones" - each zone stores 48measurements for a total capacity of 96 measurements. Thisunique feature allows 2 users to use and store their bloodpressure readings separately on one monitor!Time and Date IndicationsThis monitor automatically keeps track of the time and datefor easy reference.Special FeaturesSpecial Conditions9All Walgreens blood pressure monitors are safe and accurateto use with arrhythmias such as atrial or ventricular prematurebeats and atrial fibrillation.8Walgreens monitors measure blood pressure and pulse byusing what’s called an oscillometric method, meaning theymeasure the fluctuations in pressure. This is done by firstwrapping a fitted cuff around the upper arm. The monitorthen automatically fills the cuff with air creating pressurearound the arteries inside of the arm. Mounted inside of thecuff is a special gauge that is capable of sensing the smalloscillations (fluctuations) in pressure. These fluctuations areproduced as a result of the pressure the cuff has placedaround the arm and are, in a basic sense, the arteries pulsing(getting larger and smaller) with each beat. The monitor thenmeasures how high and how quickly these pulses occur andconverts that information into a digital value. A special valve, called an electrode, deflates the monitor automatically whenthe measurement is complete.Measurement MethodWalgreens monitors have been clinically tested against ascientific device called a sphygmomanometer, considered thegold standard in blood pressure measurement. All Walgreensmonitors have performed equivalent to measurements takenwith this scientific device and are within the accuracy limitsprescribed by the American National Standard for Electronicor Automated Sphygmomanometers.Accuracy
