VSP-V-1094AIssue 7V-1094APAGE PORT PREAMP/EXPANDERINTRODUCTIONThese instructions contain the specifications andinformation necessary to install, operate and maintainthe V-1094A Page Port Preamp/Expander.SPECIFICATIONSDesignThe Valcom V-1094A Page Port Preamp/ Expander isa solid-state audio preamplifier. The unit comes withits own surface mount box, which provides ½ inchconduit access. The amplifier will accept a highimpedance input (600 Ohms) and reduce it to a lowimpedance output. When the control knob is set on 5,the input signal level equals the output signal level.Frequency Response: 80Hz to 10kHz +/-3dBGain (into 8 Ohm load): +8dB maximumThe V-1094A is capable of driving 150 Valcomone-way speaker/amplifier assemblies.INSTALLATIONApplications These instructions cover only the installation of theValcom V-1094A.
