UMI-B1 UL Series Inverter Installation guide13Environment ConditionsHumidity RH≤90%No condensation is allowed.Storagetemperature-40~+158°F (-40°C–+70°C), and the temperature changing rate isless than 1.8°F (1°C)/minute.RunningenvironmentconditionThe installation site of the inverter should:keep away from the electromagnetic radiation source;keep away from contaminative air, such as corrosive gas, oil mistand flammable gas;ensure foreign objects, such as metal power, dust, oil, water cannot enter into the inverter (do not install the inverter on theflammable materials such as wood);keep away from direct sunlight, oil mist, steam and vibrationenvironment.AltitudeBelow 3281ft (1000m)If the altitude is above 3281ft (1000m, derate 1% for everyadditional 328ft (100m).Vibration ≤ 5.8m/s2 (0.6g)InstallationdirectionThe inverter should be installed on an upright position to ensuresufficient cooling effect.Note:• UMI-B1 UL series inverters should be installed in a clean and ventilated environmentaccording to enclosure classification.• Cooling air must be clean, free from corrosive materials and electrically conductivedust.3.1.2 Installation directionThe inverter may be installed in a cabinet.The inverter needs be installed in the vertical position. Check the installation siteaccording to the requirements below. Refer to chapter Dimension Drawings in theappendix for frame details.3.1.3 Installation mannerThe inverter can be installed in two different ways, depending on the frame size:Figure 3-1: Wall mounting (for all frame sizes)Figure 3-2: Rail mounting (for all frame sizes, but need optional installation bracket) |
