Z10 SERIES STEREO MICROSCOPESUNITRON® 73 Mall Drive, Commack, NY 11725 • 631-543-2000 • www.unitronusa.com 13Focus AdjustmentAdjusting the Rotation Tension of theFocus Adjustment Knob (Fig. 8, Fig. 9)To adjust tension, hold both left and right focusadjustment knobs ① with both hands, hold theleft knob (to prevent it from turning), and rotatethe right knob clockwise to increase (tighten) orcounterclockwise to decrease (loosen) the focusknob tension.After tension adjustment has been completed,always rotate both adjustment knobs in thesame direction.Changing the MagnificationThe zooming knobs located on both sides of thezooming body will change the magnification ofthe specimen image.Total Magnification = Magnification of zoombody x objective x magnification of eyepiece(i.e., 0.8 x 1.0 x 10=8x)Moving the Microscope (Fig. 10)Before moving the microscope, be sure toremove any slide/samples.
