Should you need to change the lamp,following the instructions below.NOTE: When handling the halogen lamp, handle itonly using lint-free gloves, cloth or tissue. Touchingthe lamp with your fingers or other type of materialcan damage the bulb.Turn the power switch to OFF and UNPLUG themicroscope power cord; allow the lamp to cool.Using the hex screwdriver supplied with yourmicroscope, loosen the lock screw ① and remove theblack illuminator housing cover by sliding it upwards asshown.Using a lint-free glove, cloth or tissue, gently grasp thelamp ② and push the lamp release lever ③ back torelease the lamp; pull the lamp out.Using a lint-free glove, cloth or tissue, gently grasp thereplacement lamp, push the lamp release lever backand insert the lamp pins ④ into the jack ⑤ closest tothe hinge of the lamp release lever, then release thelever; the lamp should be horizontal after installation.Replace the illuminator housing cover and tighten thelock screw.Fig. 26①②⑤④Fig. 27③
