14 15Operating instructionsYour BTE hearing aids come with two controlsthat allow you to further adjust your hearingaids – a lever and a push button.LeverThe lever on your hearing aids can beset up as either a volume control or acomfort-clarity control.Volume controlIf the lever has been configured as a volumecontrol, you can adjust the volume of yourhearing aids. Press up to increase; press downto decrease. As you change the volume level,your hearing aids will beep.Volume setting BeepsRecommended volume level 1 beepTurning volume up short beepTurning volume down short beepMaximum volume level 2 beepsMinimum volume level 2 beepsComfort-clarity controlIf the lever has been configured as a comfort-clarity control – press up to increase clarity ofspeech; press down to decrease overall noise orimprove listening comfort. Each step will changethe hearing aid performance. Sometimesmultiple steps are required to achieve thedesired listening results.
