Cover the battery.Supply Power to the HT660eConnect the USB/Charging Cable to the HT660e and connect the AC adapterto the cable’s power jack and an electrical outlet.Or place the HT660e into the Cradle (first connect the power supply to theCradle).Charge the Battery for the First TimeWe would like to propose to charge the battery at least up to 12 hours for thefirst time to use. While it normally only takes about 4 hours to charge thebattery after it's been drained, when charging the battery for the first timeplease allow at least 16 hours. While charging the main battery the backupbattery should also be charged. Please make sure the backup battery hasbeen switched “ON” (this cannot be emphasized enough).CAUTION: There is a high risk of data loss from RAM if the backup battery isnot fully charged. This can happen if the main battery has beendrained and the unit is not connected to the AC adaptor. For thisreason, it is crucial that the backup battery is switched on beforecharging the main battery for the first time.
