3 — EnglishIMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSyour battery product or when changing accessories.Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock, fire,or serious personal injury.• Do not place battery products or their batteries near fireor heat. This will reduce the risk of explosion and possiblyinjury.• Do not crush, drop or damage battery pack. Do not usea battery pack or charger that has been dropped orreceived a sharp blow. A damaged battery is subject toexplosion. Properly dispose of a dropped or damaged batteryimmediately.• Batteries can explode in the presence of a source ofignition, such as a pilot light. To reduce the risk of seriouspersonal injury, never use any cordless product in the presenceof open flame. An exploded battery can propel debris andchemicals. If exposed, flush with water immediately.• Do not charge battery product in a damp or wet location.Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock.• For best results, your battery product should be chargedin a location where the temperature is more than 50°F butless than 100°F. To reduce the risk of serious personal injury,do not store outside or in vehicles.• Under extreme usage or temperature conditions, batteryleakage may occur. If liquid comes in contact with yourskin, wash immediately with soap and water. If liquid getsinto your eyes, flush them with clean water for at least 10minutes, then seek immediate medical attention. Followingthis rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury.• To reduce the risk of personal injury and electric shock, theproduct should not be played with or placed where smallchildren can reach it.• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose to wateror rain.• Do not use the radio to listen to music or other audioprograms while operating machinery. Doing so may causedistractions that could result in serious personal injury.• This radio is capable of producing sound levels that canbe dangerous to long-term hearing. Listening to music athigh volume for any period of time may cause noise-inducedhearing loss. The higher the volume, the less time requiredbefore your hearing may be affected.• Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and usethem to instruct others who may use this product. If you loansomeone this product, loan them these instructions also. |
