474605MAINTENANCE& CARECorrect maintenance is important in keeping your 2×2in good working order. Proper care means the bike willalways be ready to work when you are. Only you can decidewhether or not you should perform any given task – if youare unsure please contact your service provider. Before youstart any maintenance, turn the bike off and remove the key.Do not carry out any maintenance when the bike isconnected to a power supply.Service check upContact your Ubco certified service provider fora service check up after 6 weeks or 10 hours ofriding (whichever comes first). This check up isrequired for warranty purposes.Service provider: ...............................................................Date serviced: .....................................................................Signed: ...................................................................................To keep your bike in the best condition possible,the bike should also have a full service every6 months. A small fee may apply.A full listing of certified dealers is available online:ubcobikes.com/support.CleaningDo:• Clean your 2×2 after each day of use, especiallywhen exposed to dirty terrain or salt water. Ifyou are using the 2×2 in a clean environment,this may not be necessary.• Before cleaning, turn the 2×2 off and removethe key. Ensure all power outlets, includingthe battery, have their rubber seals securely inplace. The battery should be plugged into thebike while cleaning.• Clean the bike with a low pressure hose andsoft automotive cleaning brush or sponge.Do Not:• Do not water blast or use a high pressure hoseon the bike.• Do not submerge electrical parts – they areprotected from the rain and splashes, butshould not be left in water.• Do not use cleaning products that are notspecifically designed for cars or motorcycles.They may contain ingredients that could scratchthe finish or harm components of the 2×2. |
