This information appears on the Modeland Serial number plate located on the upper right or rearwall of the interior of your product.NORMAL OPERATING SOUNDSAll models incorporate rigid foam insulated cabinets toprovide high thermal efficiency and maximum soundreduction for its internal working components. Despite thistechnology, your model may make sounds that areunfamiliar.Normal operating sounds may be more noticeable becauseof the unit’s environment. Hard surfaces such as cabinets,wood, vinyl or tiled floors and paneled walls have atendency to reflect normal appliance operating noises.Listed below are common refrigeration components with abrief description of the normal operating sounds theymake. NOTE: Your product may not contain all thecomponents listed.• Compressor: The compressor makes a hum or pulsingsound that may be heard when it operates.• Evaporator: Refrigerant flowing through an evaporatormay sound like boiling liquid.• Condenser Fan: Air moving through a condenser maybe heard.• Automatic Defrost Drain Pan: Water may be hearddripping or running into the drain pan when the unit isin the defrost cycle.TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDEDANGER!ELECTROCUTION HAZARD. Never attempt torepair or perform maintenance on the unitbefore disconnecting the main electrical power.Troubleshooting - What to check when problems occur:Problem Possible Cause and RemedyLight Remainson When DoorIs Closed.Turn off light switch if equipped.Check reed switch.Unit DevelopsFrost onInternalSurfaces.Frost on the rear wall is normal and will meltduring each off cycle.If there is excessive build-up of 1/4" or more,manually defrost the unit.Ensure the door is closing and sealingproperly.High ambient temperature and excessivehumidity can also produce frost.Unit DevelopsCondensationon ExternalSurfaces.The unit is exposed to excessive humidity.Moisture will dissipate as humidity levelsdecrease.Product IsFreezing.Because product in contact with the rear wallmay freeze, ensure no product is touching therear wall.Adjust the temperature to a warmer set point.
