Once your unit isinstalled, keep the Use and Care Guide and this InstallationGuide in a safe place for future reference.Your unit is Black or Stainless Steel. Black units have drawerswith top handles designed for the installation of full overlaydrawer panels. When full overlay panels will not be used,replacement handles MUST be installed (part number 26070-01). Stainless Steel units have drawers with seamless full wrapstainless steel fronts (that donot accept custom panels), sculpted stainless steel handlesand black vinyl-clad cabinets. Please carefully follow thedirections that apply to your unit and your intended design.Tools/Materials Required• Wrenches• Screwdrivers — slotted and Phillips head• 1/4-inch OD copper tubing and shut-off valve for watersupply line• 1/4-inch thick drawer panel material and cutting tools(Black units) (IF using a 1/4” Panel)• 3/4-inch thick drawer panel overlay material, cutting tools,drill and bits (Black units) (If using 3/4” Overlay)InspectionUnwrap and inspect the unit on a flat, level surface capableof supporting its entire weight.Removing Protective CoatingAll Models:The protective coating covering the inside of the top drawermust be removed before using.Stainless Steel Models:When inspecting/installing a Stainless Steel unit, theprotective coating covering the drawer fronts must beremoved. Start at a corner of the drawers and pull back theprotective coating to remove it from the drawer fronts.After all the protective coating has been removed from thedrawers, clean all Stainless Steel surfaces with Claire StainlessSteel Polish and Cleaner or comparable product or a milddetergent and warm water solution and soft cloth. Do NOTuse abrasive cleaning agents.Note: If cleaning with mild detergent and warm watersolution and soft cloth, the unit MUST be treated with ClaireStainless Steel Polish and Cleaner or comparable product toprevent discoloration.2 Inspect and Plan
