The home position is detected when the actuator installed on the CIS casepasses the CIS home position sensor (S1).When the [START] button is pressed, the CIS unit starts scanning the original.• Scanning an original on the ADFThe CIS unit (CIS) stops and stays at the shading position during the shading correction, and at thescanning position during the scanning operation.
