6PrecautionsOperating• Before using, make sure power supply and other cables are properly connected.• While operating, if any abnormal condition or malfunction is observed, stopusing the camera immediately and then contact your local dealer.Handling• Do not disassemble or tamper with parts inside the camera.• Do not drop or subject the camera to shock and vibration as this can damagecamera.• Do not block the cooling holes on the bracket. This camera has a cooling faninside the housing. Blocking the cooling holes will cause heat to build up andcause malfunction.• Care must be taken when you clean the clear dome cover. Scratches and dustwill ruin the image quality of your camera. Do not use strong or abrasivedetergents when cleaning the camera body. Use a dry cloth to clean thecamera when it is dirty. In case the dirt is hard to remove, use a mild detergentand wipe the camera gently.Installation and Storage• Install electricity wiring carefully. Please note that input electricity to the unit is attolerance of DC 12V/AC 24V ± 10%. The camera is capable of surge protection;ensure AC power model unit is grounded appropriately against damage byheavy current or electric shock.• Do not install the camera in areas of extreme temperatures in excess of theallowable range. (-40°C ~50°C / -40°F ~ 122°F)• Avoid installing in humid or dusty places. The relative humidity must be below90%.• Avoid installing in places where radiation is present.• Avoid installing in places where there are strong magnetic fields and electricsignals.• Avoid installing in places where the camera would be subject to strongvibrations.• Whether the camera is in use or not, never aim it at the sun or other extremelybright objects. Otherwise the camera may be smeared and damaged.Should you notice any trouble• If any trouble occurs while you are using the camera, turn off the power andcontact your dealer. If you continue to use the camera when there is somethingwrong with it, the trouble may get worse and an unpredictable problem mayoccur. |
