FeaturesPersonal Computer Dialing of Voice Calls28 Strata DK PC/Data Interface 5/00Dialing programs vary, but most require that you enter the telephone number to becalled in a designated field or space. When using a Toshiba Data Telephone you mustalso enter the outgoing call access code in front of the telephone number to be called.Example: If the telephone number is 1-714-583-3700, the following sequence shouldbe entered in the telephone number field:CO Line Access Code + 17145833700When the CO line access code and telephone number is entered into the dialing fieldproperly and the computer software dialing is initiated, the PC automatically sends thefollowing sequence to the Data Telephone:ATDT + CO Line Access Code + 17145833700Note ATDT is the Hayes modem dialing command automatically inserted by thecomputer dialing software.When the Data Telephone receives the above dialing command, it automaticallyaccesses an outgoing CO line and dials 17145833700.
