The Msg indication cancels without calling thetelephone or VM device which set the Msg indicationon your telephone.1. Press a [DN] and dial a[PDN] or a [PhDN].You hear ringback tone or busy tone.2. Press Htor press &whilelistening to the ringback orbusy tone.The Msg LED associated with the dialed numberflashes at the called telephone. The Msg LED lightssteady at your telephone. If you dialed a [PDN], the LED of the fixed Htbutton flashes. If you dialed a [PhDN] and that station has aHXbutton specifically associated with the [PhDN],then that button’s[PhDN/MW] LED flashes. Ifthe called station does not have a [PhDN/MW]button, then dial the [PDN] to leave a message.3. Press U6GF. The Msg LED continues to flash at the calledtelephone, until the called party retrieves the messageby pressing the Flashing (fixed) Ht button or the[PhDN/MW]. After setting a message waitingindication on another telephone, the Msg LED turnsoff at your station after you press U6GF.1. Dial the station number onwhich you left the indication.2. Press Ht twice or press &twice.
