TS-L532A (SD-R6472) Rev.1.18 / 283.3.2. Installation(1) The surface where the drive is fixed must be sufficiently flat, and it is recommended that anyunevenness is within 0.2mm enough. Be sure not to apply excessive force to the drive, as thismay deform it, etc.(2) Leave as much spaces as possible around the sides of and above the drive, so that it does notcome into contact with any other equipment, even if subjected to vibration, shock, etc.The recommended amount of clearance space for equipment with a thickness of 12.9 mm(maximum) is 0.5 mm or more vertically. It is also recommended to leave a space of 0.8 mm ormore around the front bezel in all directions.(3) Special care must be taken in respect of heat. When installing the drive, keep the ambienttemperature below 50 ºC by ventilating and shutting off any hot air from peripheral equipment.(4) Do not use force exceeding the restricted range on the top and the bottom covers of the drive.(Refer to Figure 2 for details of the restricted range for the top cover. For the bottom cover, forceapplied must be 2N or less across the whole area.)Figure 2 Restricted force range for the top cover(5) Install this drive in correct structure and in a proper manner, since EMC (ElectromagneticCompatibility) characteristics are influenced by the method of installation.R46R59R632 N1 N0.5 NDo not addthe force.37245.4711647074128129
