Turn off the power supply to the LTC Plussatellite. Remove the cabinet’s front cover toaccess the internal components. Disconnectall cables labeled A through F from the timingmechanism and the front distribution board.Retain cables B, D, E and F for installation.Cables A and C will no longer be required forthe conversion and should be sent back to Torofor proper recycling or disposal procedures. SeeFigure 1.Open the cabinet’s top cover to access thetiming mechanism (TM). Remove the fourretaining screws from the TM and lift it out ofthe cabinet. Remove the modem from the backof the TM and retain it for installation. TheLTC Plus TM will no longer be required for theconversion and should be sent back to Toro forproper recycling or disposal procedures.See Figure 2.Disconnect the flex cables from the distributionboard on the front side of the cabinet. Detachthe output boards by removing the two retainingscrews. Retain all flex cables, screws and outputboards for installation. See Figure 3.ABCDEFFigure 1 Figure 2 Figure 3Disconnect the flex cable that connects thedistribution board to the pump/commonmodule on the front side of the cabinet. Detachthe pump/common module by removing thethree retaining screws and washers. Retain theflex cable, screws, washers and pump/commonmodule for installation. See Figure 4.Remove the three retaining screws from thedistribution board and detach it from thebackplate. Retain the screws for installation.The LTC Plus distribution board will no longerbe required for the conversion and shouldbe sent back to Toro for proper recycling ordisposal procedures. See Figure 5.NOTE Only the front distribution board isbeing replaced with a Network VP conversionboard. The rear distribution board (Ifequipped) will communicate directly to theNetwork VP conversion board.Install the Network VP/VPE conversion boardonto the backplate.
