12OperationNote: Determine the left and right sides of the machinefrom the normal operating position.ControlsBecome familiar with the controls before you start theengine and operate the machine.Using the Parking BrakeAlways set the parking brake whenever you stop themachine or leave it unattended.Setting the Parking Brake1. Lift the parking brake lever (Fig. 2) up and graduallytake your foot off of the brake pedal.Note: The brake pedal should stay in the depressed(locked) position.Releasing the Parking Brake1. Push down on the brake pedal (Fig. 2) and hold it.2. Push the parking brake lever (Fig. 2) down andgradually release the brake pedal.Positioning the SeatThe seat can move forward and backward.
