TroubleshootingProblem Possible Cause SolutionEngine will not start 1,. Switch set to the 0 (OFF)position.2 No spark3. No fuel4. Flooded engine5_ Starter cord pulls harder nowthen when newI. Set switch to the I (ON) position.2.. Remove tile spark plug.. Reattach the sparkplug cap and lay the spark plug on the metalcylinder Pull the starter cord and watch for aspark at the spark plug tip.. If there is no spark,repeat the test with a new spark plug.3. Push primer bulb until the bulb is full of fuel..If the bulb does not fill, the primary fueldelivery system is blocked.. If the primer bulbfills, the engine may be flooded. (See nextitem..)4 Remove the spark plug.. ']?urn the product sothat the spark plug hole is aimed at theground. Make sure the choke lever is set to Band puli file starter cord 10 to t4 times.. Thisdears excess fuel from the engine_ Clean andreinstall the spark plug. With the trigger fullydepressed, pul! the starter cord 3 times,. If theengine does nor start, set the choke lever to Aand follow normal starting instructions. If theengine still fails to start, repeat the procedurewith a new spark plug.5..
