Press the top of the pedal tomove forward and the bottom to move backward.Ground speed depends on how far you press thepedal. For no load, maximum ground speed, fullypress the pedal while the throttle is in Fast.To stop, reduce your foot pressure on the tractionpedal and allow it to return to the center position.Important: The speed limiter screw muststop the traction pedal before the pumpreaches full stroke or damage to the pumpmay occur.Brake PedalsTwo foot pedals (Figure 2) operate individualwheel brakes for turning assistance, parking, andto aid in obtaining better side hill traction. A latchconnects the pedals for parking brake operationand transport.Pedal Locking LatchThe pedal locking latch (Figure 2) connects thepedals together to engage the parking brake.Tilt Steering LeverPress the lever (Figure 2) down to tilt the steeringwheel to the desired position. Then release thelever to lock the adjustment.Parking Brake LatchA knob on the left side of the console actuatesthe parking brake lock (Figure 2). To engage theparking brake, connect the pedals with the lockinglatch, push down on both pedals, and pull theparking brake latch out. To release the parkingbrake, press both pedals until the parking brakelatch retracts.Charge IndicatorThe charge indicator (Figure 2) illuminates whenthe system charging circuit malfunctions.Engine Oil Pressure Warning LightThe light (Figure 2) illuminates when the engineoil pressure is dangerously low.Engine Coolant Temperature WarningLightThe light (Figure 2) illuminates and the engineshuts down when coolant reaches an excessivelyhigh temperature.16
