83352-856 Rev BChecking the Engine Oil Level1. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, and fullyinstall the dipstick.m-8099/m-5571m-80982. Remove the dipstick and check the oil level. If theoil level is below the Add mark on the dipstick,slowly pour oil into the oil fill tube to raise the oil levelto the Full mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.(Max. fill: 20 oz., type: SAE 30W detergent oil with anAPI service classification of SF, SG, SH, SJ, SL, orhigher.)3. Install the dipstick.Adjusting the Cutting HeightWarningAdjusting the cutting height may bring you into contact with the moving blade, causingserious injury. Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop. Do not put your fingers under the housing when adjusting the cutting height.CautionIf the engine has been running, the muffler will be hot and can severely burn you.Keep away from the hot muffler.Adjust the cutting heightas desired.
